Marathon Public Library COVID-19 Update
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
July 19, 2021 (MARATHON, ON)— On July 16, 2021, the province of Ontario had entered phase three (3) of the roadmap to reopening. As outlined in phase three (3), all public libraries are now permitted to increase their limited capacity. As per the guidelines enforced by the province of Ontario and the Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU), the library will be operating with a total of 20 persons permitted to enter the facility. This capacity limitation breaks down to a limit of four (4) persons for computer usage and five (5) persons for browsing/checkout. All previous precautions will remain in place at this time. We would like to remind our patrons that it is mandatory to wear a mask and sanitize when entering the facility. The Marathon Public Library would like to thank everyone for your continued support in our small-town public library.
